T&I's Static Bed & Vibro
Fluidized Bed driers are designed for high heat transfer
rates making them the ideal choice for economic drying
of materials having a wide size distribution with
significant number of oversize particles and those which
are cohesive, sticky or fragile. The particles to be
dried, initially supported by on a series of
static/vibratory distributor stainless steel, slotted
plates / wedge wire screens, are subjected to gas
velocities slightly greater than or equal to the minimum
fluidizing velocity, at which point, the particles
become freely suspended in the air stream and behave as
fluid.
